A weathered Kudzu Country Club sign disappears beneath botanically detailed vines in navy, rust, and bone. The original club graphic is printed large on the back of a heavyweight Comfort Colors 1717 garment-dyed tee, with no front print.
Kudzu, Pueraria montana var. lobata, was widely promoted for erosion control in the American South before its rapid growth became the more familiar story. The illustration treats the vine as the club's groundskeeper, slowly taking possession of the sign and everything around it.
The house shirt for naturalists, Southern-gothic gardeners, invasive-plant people, and anyone who understands that the grounds have long since won the argument.
